Welcome to Day 6 in our 31 Day series on A Mom’s Guide to Getting it All Done. In case you missed yesterday’s post you may want to go and read it first. Or just jump in right here with us today.
Did you take some time yesterday to ask God to give you vision and clarify your “Why?” I hope you spent the necessary time on this step. Knowing your “why” will help you stay focused and even eliminate unnecessary distractions in your life.
So what should you do with your “why?” Write it down. Tape it to your mirror or make a pretty piece of art our of it and display it where you will see it every day. Continue to ask God to clarify it and expand on it for you. Remember to keep saying yes to Him before you know all of the steps and details and continue to seek Him first but don’t be afraid to really get to know and be comfortable with your “why.”
Here’s the reason knowing your why is so valuable to you – when things come up in life you will be able to ask yourself “Does this line up with my why? Is this part of what I was created to do?” This step will help you to lay down a lot of seemingly good things for the really great things in life.
Here is some more inspiration (and humor) to help you understand the importance of knowing your why (If you cannot see the video in your email, click here to watch it on the blog):

Hi, Kristin. I found you through the 31 Days facebook group. I’m not participating this year, but I’ve chosen a few people to follow and I really like your series so far! I am constantly wondering how other moms get everything done because I always feel like I cannot get my act together. I’m so glad to know it’s not just me! Looking forward to more from you this month.

Hi Lisa, I’m so glad you came by! I hope you enjoy the series and that it is helpful. You are certainly not alone in wondering. I have a feeling way more of us moms than we realize ask ourselves that very same question. Blessings, Kristin
