Welcome to Day 24 in our 31 Day series on A Mom’s Guide to Getting it All Done. In case you missed yesterday’s post you may want to go and read it first. Or just jump in right here with us today.
Motherhood and all that comes with it is hard work. There’s really no way around the hard. Don’t worry that giving it your all will leave you depleted.
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might… Ecclesiastes 9:10a AMP
When you live your life surrendered to God and seeking His will for you He will strengthen you for the journey.
So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Galatians 6:9
He doesn’t expect us to get it all done in our own strength but when we think He does we fall into a trap of not trusting Him and we don’t ask Him for the strength that we need. We can get so very weary in the midst of the hard but He is faithful and we can fully depend on Him to strengthen us to keep going.
So, if you are tired today of all the hard work, decide to believe that He wants to refresh and refill you. Wait on Him for strength and ask Him for it even when you don’t feel like you deserve it. He will always take you farther than you can on your own and your life will be a beautiful testimony of how He takes your little, breaks it, and multiplies it for His glory.
