What do you feel you are lacking today as a mother? Patience with your kids, peace about your situation, a heart full of love? Perhaps it’s endurance for the toughness of the job?
For whatever you lack today Jesus is all you need. He IS what you lack.
God’s Word says that Love is patient, kind, doesn’t envy, doesn’t boast, is not proud, dishonoring or self-seeking. Love is not easily angered and keeps no record of wrong, does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth. Love always protects, trusts, hopes and perseveres {1 Cor 13:4-7}.
God’s Word also says that God IS Love {1 John 4:8}. So He IS your love, patience, kindness, self-control…
Can I encourage you to lay your lack before Him today and ask Him for more of Him in your life? He is everything you need to be an excellent mom! Let Him fill you today.
Today is short and sweet but really I just want to get out of the way and let you see that everything you need is in Jesus. Trust in Him with your whole heart and spend time with Him today.
