One thing that I know I long for is – excellence… in mothering.
I’ve been going through a lot on the other side of the screen lately. Much of it is a pruning of my heart that I know is preparation for a new season. One thing that I hear the Lord calling me to is excellence.
So let’s explore becoming excellent mothers for 31 days together. Let’s pursue excellence with a humble heart.
Now, before we begin this journey I have to clarify {for myself & everyone else} that excellence does not mean perfection. Nope. The pressure is off! Excellence is your best with God’s presence, power and strength to back you up. Perfection is not only impossible but it’s a lie that will destroy you. We’ll get into all of this more in our 31 day journey but for now let’s commit to pursue excellence and accept the grace that we are given in that pursuit.
Will you join me? If you’re joining in there’s nothing like putting action behind your intentions. Let me know in the comments if you are committing to work towards excellence and tell friends by sharing this post on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest. I’m thrilled to journey through this with you.
